- The survey of Dutch millennials revealed a strong preference to driving since the pandemic, with 55% or respondents planning on driving to special occasions this year rather than taking public transport
- More generally, the survey shows that currently Dutch millennials don’t feel safe on public transport, with 64% more likely to drive to avoid it
- Across Europe, the research shows 68% of millennials are now more likely to drive than take public transport, with 65% saying that the pandemic has led them to make the switch
- With half of Dutch millennials open to buying a car online
The Millennial Car Survey asked 3,000 millennials across six countries how their outlook on mobility and online car buying had changed due to the pandemic.
